We believe the more you know about labor and birth the better able you will be to deal with the many challenges each often bring. As a result, we offer our patients private childbirth classes taught by our certified nurse-midwives. The classes follow a Lamaze format yet cover numerous other topics such as breastfeeding, well-baby care and sibling issues.
Our classes are for all of our patients wishing to learn more about the birthing process and not just those interested in "natural childbirth".
Classes are offered on Saturday mornings to make attendance easier for those who find it difficult to get away from work during the week. When you and your partner complete our childbirth education program, you will feel confident in your ability to give birth and care for your baby.
