Our practice offers a broad range of gynecologic services ranging from well-woman annual examinations to surgery for gynecologic cancers and treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic reconstructive surgery.
We care for women throughout the continuum of their lives; from adolescence, through the reproductive years and beyond. We feel our patients are best served by becoming active partners in their health care, and subsequently we do our very best to involve our patients and their families in every aspect of the health care process. More now than ever, patients are confronted with an incomprehensible amount of medical information, some accurate, some not: we see it as our role to help you navigate this sea of information as easily as possible to your overall benefit.
When you come to our office for a gynecological examination you will be treated warmly and respectfully. The physician or Nurse-Midwife will talk with you about your health and any problems you may be experiencing while you are dressed and before you are examined. Your examination will be explained to you in detail. Following your examination, any pertinent findings will be discussed with you at length.
Your physician or Nurse-Midwife will help you decide upon the proper course for your given health needs. Any necessary diagnostic testing will be arranged for you at your convenience including but not limited to mammography, bone density studies, urinary incontinence testing, and serum cholesterol assessment.
